Making our way to the back of the facility, there are courts, fields, playgrounds, and a fitness trail. The fitness trail contains five exercise machines along the half-mile path. The trail offers a serene atmosphere for those who want to stay active while enjoying nature. If you cut through at the end, this path connects to the veteran's memorial park on Montgomery Street.

The Rouses Point Veteran's Memorial Park stands as a testament to the brave soldiers who fought for America's freedom. A colossal tank monument can be found within this park. It is an impressive structure that pays tribute to the brave soldiers who once served in various wars. This structure was donated by the Vermont Army National Guard and is a physical representation of the community's appreciation for the sacrifices made by these soldiers. Upon continuing down Montgomery Street on the sidewalk, one can make their way to the Rouses Point Montgomery Pier. There are historical information stations that provide details about Rouses Point, Lake Champlain, and its history on the walk to the pier.

The pier has a rich history, dating back to the 1800s when it served as the location for the Montgomery and McGregor Steamship Company. The company used the pier to ferry passengers and goods across the lake, connecting Rouses Point to Canada and other parts of the United States. In the early 1900s, the pier was also used for recreational activities such as fishing and picnicking, a tradition that continues to this day. Overall, the Montgomery Pier serves as a popular spot for fishing and boating enthusiasts, as well as tourists looking to soak up the natural beauty of Lake Champlain. From the pier, the walk continues to Lakeside Coffee.

The coffee shop is located in a historic building that dates back to the 1800s and offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
