Descend hundreds of feet to walk on natural stone walkways and gaze upon eons of geologic history etched in stone.
Add a scenic raft ride and float the legendary waters of the Ausable River through a maze of breathtaking rock formations sculpted over thousands of years by the river's currents. For the more adventurous, try the rappelling adventure course or the new adventure trail featuring cable bridges, edge walks, cargo net climb, cable traverses and more.
Cadyville Park gives you the opportunity to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities year around. Use of the park and its facilities are free to the public.

I-87; exit 42. Go east at the end of the ramp to a left on Church St. at the next traffic light. Go to the stop sign and straight through the intersection to the 1st tee on the right by the community garden.
Natural Stone Bridge and Caves is home to the massive stone bridge arch - the LARGEST marble cave entrance in the east. The entrance dominates this spectacular display of ancient Adirondack geology from rock over one billion years old. Take a walking stick, map, and camera and set out on a self-guided, above-ground, natural stone step nature trail and descend into lighted surface caves with raging waterfalls and tranquil dark pools.
Looking for a free outdoor activity where even the equipment is provided? Look no further than behind the SUNY Plattsburgh Field House. A nine-hole, par three Frisbee golf course has been designed starting just south of the parking adjacent to Temple Beth Israel, wrapping around the service road, along the river, beside Chip Cummings Field and back out to the parking lot to the west of the field house. All are welcome to enjoy this family friendly activity!
Whiteface Mountain is home to the greatest vertical drop in the east. Enjoy Whiteface Mountain’s 87 trails (a third of which are rated for expert skiers), 11 lifts including a gondola, terrain parks, adrenaline-pumping glades skiing, and six restaurants. Whiteface is an Olympic Mountain, which means you can you carve the same turns as the world's best racers did in 1932 and 1980.
