The Adirondack Coast has a variety of camping options, including state and private Campgrounds, as well as island camping opportunities.
A genuine Adirondack campground offering several 50 amp sites and pull through sites, 27 cabins, lodges and trailer rentals. Campground includes, TV, snack bar, fishing, boating, mini-golf, jumping pillow, gem mining, arcade, rec hall, 2 pools with a waterslide, an inflatable waterside, horseshoes, volleyball and basketball and 3 playgrounds.

Add a scenic raft ride and float the legendary waters of the Ausable River through a maze of breathtaking rock formations sculpted over thousands of years by the river's currents. For the more adventurous, try the rappelling adventure course or the new adventure trail featuring cable bridges, edge walks, cargo net climb, cable traverses and more.
Ausable Point Campground campsites offer a shoreline comprised of natural sand and a gentle slope right to Lake Champlain. It borders a wildlife management area that offers a hiking trail, as well as water access for canoeists and sea kayakers to explore. With the city of Plattsburgh a short drive from this campground there is virtually no limit for entertainment opportunities.

Blue Haven Family Campground and Resort is located in the foothills of New York's Adirondack Mountains on Lake Roxanne in the friendly hamlet of Ellenburg Depot. Whether it's Fishing, Hiking, Biking, Golfing or just hanging out, the region is one of the most robust areas for outdoor recreation in the Northeast. The Majestic North Branch of the Great Chazy River runs directly through the center of the property.
On the western shore of Lake Champlain and minutes from downtown Plattsburgh is Cumberland Bay State Park, a popular day-use area with a large natural sand beach and picnic grounds. The park is open from mid-May – Columbus Day.
Choose from one of Deer River Campsite's 84 wooded, well-spaced sites, with both pull-thru and double slide out site convenience, or one of five Camping Cabins. They offer clean restrooms, laundry, a playground, free WiFi, convenience store, café, boat/canoe rentals and 2 recreation buildings.
Monty's Bay Campsites was established as a sole proprietorship by Gerard and Sally Bechard in 1963 with 25 campsites, a beachside day picnic area, and a convenience store. This family business has grown to the current size of 134 campsites and, in 1991 added Gilbert Brook Marina. The marina has 170 boat slips, 90 boat moorings and a boat ramp. We have also added a modern heated tiled bathhouse, office/convenience store, pool and laundry facilities. To this day the children, and grandchildren, of Gerard and Sally are still involved in the management of the business.
Monty's Bay Campsites is located on Lake Champlain, 12 miles south of the U.S.-Canadian border, and 8 miles north of Plattsburgh, New York. Monty's Bay Campsites' location at the center of Monty bay offers 1/4 mile of shoreline and panoramic views of the surrounding New York and Vermont shorelines and mountains. Our season extends from May 1st to October 15th. Monty's Bay Campsites is only 4 miles from exit 40 on Interstate 87, and is a mere 15 minute drive from Plattsburgh for a variety of retail shopping, restaurants, and other conveniences.
Gilbert Brook Marina is located on Lake Champlain, 12 miles south of the U.S.- Canadian border, 8 miles north of Plattsburgh, New York and just across the street from our associated Campground. Gilbert Brook's location at the center of Monty Bay offers the relaxing and low-stress environment associated with open waters with gentle breezes, and breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding New York and Vermont shorelines and mountains; we're also conveniently located halfway between the open sailing waters of Burlington, VT to the south, and the border crossing on the Richelieu River of Quebec, Canada. Our season extends from May 1st to October 15th. As one of Lake Champlain's newest marinas, Gilbert Brook offers modern, convenient facilities at affordable rates.
Iroquois Campground and RV Park is a 190-site, family-owned and operated campground nestled between the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain. Each site is furnished with a picnic table and fireplace. All have full hookups (30 or 50 amp). This pet friendly campgrounds offers a variety of amenities, such as a camp store, a pool, a newly renovated bath house with hot showers, a comfortable laundry room, a two-acre pond for fishing and paddle boating, a playground, and a recreation hall.
Macomb Reservation State Park allows you to enjoy a day in the wilderness playing on David Pond or the Salmon River. The park is open from mid-May to Labor Day.
Plattsburgh RV Park is located in upstate New York – nestled between the Adirondacks and Green Mountains of Vermont – and is within walking distance to the shores of Lake Champlain. Situated on over 100 acres just north of the City of Plattsburgh, Plattsburgh RV Park has over 200 large sites, including big-rig sites, and is outfitted with many amenities and updated facilities.
Twin Ells has a wide variety of sites to accommodate the smallest of tents to the largest of rigs. The campsite sets on 40 acres of rolling hills with its 212 sites nestled among a wide variety of trees such as maple, birch, poplar, hardhack, ironwood, hickory, beech, and pine.
