The iconic Witherill Hotel was located in downtown Plattsburgh until 1969. Susan Howell Hamlin, daughter of the late William Howell, owner of the Hotel, will share her memories and experiences of being raised in one of Plattsburgh’s most remembered hotels. Her book, Welcome to the Witherill: A retrospective on Plattsburgh’s landmark hotel and the family who owned it, which also contains her stories and many images, will be available.
