Twenty-five years after the events of September 11, 2001, Adirondack Regional Theatre invites the community to come together to remember the lives lost, the lives forever changed, and the lasting impact of that day on communities throughout America.

The Guys is a moving and deeply human exploration of grief, friendship, resilience, and remembrance in the aftermath of September 11. The play centers on the relationship between a journalist and a New York City fire captain as they work together to honor the firefighters who lost their lives. Through their story, audiences are given an intimate look at the personal toll of tragedy and the importance of remembering those who were lost.

For Adirondack Regional Theatre, bringing The Guys to the community during this significant anniversary year is an opportunity to create space for reflection and conversation while honoring the individuals and communities affected by September 11.

Lee Ann Thomas and Jim Calnon reprise their roles in this production.

FREE COMMUNITY PERFORMANCE

Admission to all performances is free, with a suggested donation of $10. Donations will benefit BHSN Mental Health Services and support mental health resources in our community.

Adirondack Regional Theatre encourages members of the community to join us for this special production as we pause to remember September 11, those we lost, those whose lives were changed, and the enduring impact of that day.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
