A welcoming, hands-on weekend designed for those who are new to RVing and want to learn the basics in a supportive environment. We’ll cover essential topics like hookups, setup, and campground know-how — while creating space for campfire conversations and connection with fellow beginners. You’ll also have time to relax and explore the Adirondacks and North Country — lake views, scenic drives, and the kind of experiences that make RV life worth it. At Shady Oaks, we’re intentionally creating weekends that bring people together and invite more campers to experience this special corner of New York. More events are on the way.
