Location:
Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel, Old Base, Plattsburgh

Abigail Adams famously charged her husband to “remember the ladies” as he worked to reform colonial government in early 1776. Though rarely on the battlefield, many American women were as invested in the success of the Revolution as the men who led and died in the war. Their contributions from the home front to the front lines established their place as partners in the new nation. Presented by Dr. Wendy Gordon, History Professor, SUNY Plattsburgh.
