Meet Benjamin Franklin and the special committee from the Continental Congress that passed through Ticonderoga on their way north. Learn more about their diplomatic work to allay fears among French Canadians and to encourage them to join the United Colonies in their fight for rights. Examine how challenges for the Northern Department undermined Canadians’ faith in American promises.
