Melissa Penfield Park is getting a colorful new addition! 🦋 The new Monarchs and Milkweeds mural celebrates creativity, community, and our connection to nature. Created by artists Abbie Duquette, Giovanina Bucci, and Amy Guglielmo, the mural came to life over two weeks in September 2026 with help from more than 150 community members. Featuring monarch butterflies, milkweed flowers, and caterpillars, the artwork symbolizes the connections that bring our community together. Made possible through the NYSCA CHARM Initiative, the mural is part of ongoing improvements to Melissa Penfield Park, creating an even more welcoming place for recreation, art, play, and community connection.
