With Dr. Maeve Kane, Drawn from research for a new book about how clothing and objects have been used to commemorate the Revolution from the early days of the nation to the current250th anniversary of the Revolution, Dr. Maeve Kane will discuss the early history of what has become historical reenacting, how clothing revolutionized the memory of the American Revolution, and what it meant to be American in the early days of the nation.
