Join the procession of a Continental Army Soldier’s funeral and see him laid tohis final resting place. Pay respect to the numerous soldiers who did notreceive a proper burial at Ticonderoga in 1777 and reflect on the ultimatesacrifice they made to secure our liberty today.
12:00 p.m. Flag Raising Ceremony(Begins atop Mount Defiance at 72 Defiance Street)
Join FortTiconderoga and the Ticonderoga American Legion as we renew our American flagatop Mount Defiance, as a salute to all those who have fallen in the service ofthis nation. From this breathtaking vista, remember their sacrifice with a21-gun salute.
A 10% general admissions discount will be given to military members with proof of service for this special weekend-long event.
