The beloved and celebrated string quartet retires at the end of this season, bringing to a close a remarkable 44-year international career. We've had the Alexanders twice before while on their northeast tours in 2022 and 2023 and they did not fail to impress with their power and grace, as well as their personal charm. They performed quartets from "the canon" by Mozart, Debussy, Nielsen, Sibelius, Shostakovich and a contemporary work by Tarik O'Regan.
It promises to be a stellar and memorable occasion - a fitting way to remember one of the great string quartets of our time. See you in Saranac!
