Family Friendly Introduction to Snowshoeing

Join Champlain Area Trails and Point Au Roche State Park for a free beginner snowshoeing lesson on Friday, February 20th, from 10 AM to 12 PM! This exciting event offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the basics of snowshoeing in a friendly, supportive, and fun environment.

Our sessions are family-friendly and suitable for participants aged 5 and up. We will learn the basics of snowshoeing, and embark on a guided Winter adventure! Please register to ensure rentals are available, or bring your own if you can.

Preparation Tips:- Dress in good winter layers suitable for physical activity. February can be chilly, but you'll warm up while snowshoeing. We recommend wicking shirts or wool base layers.- Don’t forget your hat and gloves, and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated
