The parade will begin at 12:00 PM at West Side Ballroom, located in the Town of Plattsburgh, proceeding right onto New York Road, entering the traffic circle, and continuing straight on New York Road before concluding at the U.S. Oval in the City of Plattsburgh.
Following the parade, attendees are invited to gather at the U.S. Oval for a special ceremony in partnership with the Disabled American Veterans Association (DAV), performances, food trucks, and a soccer tournament. Plattsburgh Highschools A capella group, Encore, will be performing during the ceremony.
Adding to the day’s activities, North Country Athletics is partnering with the City of Plattsburgh to host the Memorial Day 3v3 Soccer Salute at the U.S. Oval. This World Cup-style tournament will feature youth teams in U10 and U12 boys and girls divisions, with morning and afternoon sessions. Each team is guaranteed multiple games, with group play leading into a knockout round. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit North Country Honor Flight, supporting local veterans.
