After three successful tours of our outdoor circus Stars Above , Hideaway Circus is mounting a sequel to the beloved production, titled Canvas Sky at Strand Center for the Arts. The show features a cast of ten world-class circus artists who explore the themes of self acceptance and uplifting one another. We follow the story of a circus troupe where the clown struggles to ‘fit in’ and find his voice, until he gets a little help from a friend who has already figured out how to embrace what makes her wonderful and unique.
Our captivating outdoor circus brings together the enchantment and thrill of classical circus with a contemporary and touching narrative. This family-friendly spectacle, created by the innovative minds of Hideaway Circus founders Josh and Lyndsay Aviner, is perfect for audiences of all ages.
