13th Annual Kids Fair & Festival

This year the Kids Fair & Festival will feature Pumpkin Painting, Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe, Kids Old-Time Games, which will include a Prize for Every Child, Apple Bobbing, Fresh Popcorn and Cotton Candy, Stagecoach Rides, Antique Fire Truck Rides, Hands-on Corn Grinding, Water Pumping, and Buttermaking, Feeding and Petting the Horses and Donkeys, and more.

We will also be featuring Cider Pressing with an antique cider press, as well as hosting special guests from the Davis Family Farm and Uncle Jack's Sugar Shack--Jack and Jim, two show-worthy yearling Oxen.

Additionally, educator and local bee expert Kathy Cantwell will be at the Babbie Museum on both Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 4 pm.  She will be sharing her local knowledge of bees and pollinators, as well as presenting a craft activity for kids.  Kathy will be highlighting a coloring activity using Beeswax crayons, which will then include a Bee stamp on each child's paper using heated wax.

If you have a membership or sponsor card, this event is free. General admission is $12 for adults, $10 for military personnel and seniors, $8 for children 5 and up; and Free for children 4 and under.
