Learn to Measure Tree Height – Big Tree Fest

We all love Tall Trees! Take this FREE program from Dr. Justin Waskiewicz and learn easy ways to measure a tree’s height.

There will then be a weekend long contest to find the tallest trees throughout the VIC’s 3,000 acres by species.

Participants should bring a calculator (most smartphones have them) a yardstick/meterstick would be beneficial but we can use any stick, and a tape measure, but we will also teach you how to pace a distance.
