In 1775 Parliament passed one of its most divisiveacts when it authorized the use of German auxiliary troops against its ownAmericans Colonists. The stories of these men and women offer new insights intothe Revolution from an outsider’s perspective.
Brady Crytzer is the author of six books studyingimperialism in North America, including Hessians: Mercenaries, Rebels, andthe War for British North America. He teaches history at RobertMorris University.
