The concert is open to the public. Admissions is $12 and free for all students. The program, conducted by music faculty member Daniel Gordon, will consist of Japanese composer Hayato Hirose’s “Fantasy for Marimba” (Jane Boxall is soloist), Vincent Persichetti’s “Symphony for Band” and chamber music works for saxophone and percussion, which soloist Boxall will perform with Gordon. The Adirondack Wind Ensemble is a professional musical ensemble of wind and percussion instruments comprised of music educators and other outstanding community musicians from around the North Country.
