Visitors Bureau Launches French Website
New Website Plays Key Role in Reaching Montreal Market
Plattsburgh – 8/19/10 – The Adirondack Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau (VCB) today announced the launch of a French version of its website, goadirondack.com, the official tourism website for Clinton County, NY.
Whereas the tourism website previously featured a few key pages in French, the new version duplicates the English site in its entirety. Michele Powers, Director of Adirondack Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau said, “Montreal is a key focus for our tourism efforts. It was important for us to create the same user experience regardless whether the visitor speaks French or English.”
Both English and French-speaking visitors to the site can expect to find the most up-to-date information on area events, lodging, dining and things to do while on the Adirondack Coast. They can also download wallpaper, send e-postcards and view electronic brochures.
Powers continued, “As everyone with a website knows, you’re never done. We’ll continue to strengthen our online presence by adding more content and functionality to both sites throughout the year.”
