Anglers Take to Lake Champlain this Weekend in the Northern Bass Supply Tournament
Pro and local anglers compete to qualify for a chance to compete in the Tournament of Champions
Plattsburgh, NY– 06/23/10 – The Adirondack Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau is pleased to welcome the Northern Bass Supply Tournament to Lake Champlain this Saturday June 26.
This is a unique one day bass fishing tournament where pro anglers, regional anglers and local anglers compete in hopes of qualifying for “The Tournament of Champions (TOC)” on Lake Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire. The top 3 qualifiers from each of the 5 regional tournaments will compete in the TOC in September.
There are three divisions competing this weekend including: 2 angler teams, parent and child teams and husband and wife teams. “We are extremely excited to welcome back the Northern Bass Supply Tournament to Lake Champlain. I am confident the tournament will be a success for both the organizers and the community.” states Group Marketing Specialist, Kristy Kennedy, of the Adirondack Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau.
The weigh-in is FREE and open to the public starting at 3pm Saturday June 25 at Wilcox Dock in Plattsburgh. Spectators can see how regional anglers fare against the pros on Lake Champlain.
